A wild time

Sorry Brian and I haven't posted in the past couple days. It's that point in the semester when you're treading water. Thankfully today is Friday and a very fun Friday at that. Our school has a tradition called Niktag, its basically like a Sadie- Hawkins where the girls ask the boys to go to an event with them. There is a theme every year and the girls have to dress up like the theme and bring the boys a treat that goes along with the theme. This year the theme was safari. I dressed up in a jean shirt, tan shorts, a backpack and some zebra print. 

Happy he said yes

For a snack I took some fruit salad and milk to Brian and told him it came from an animal so it worked!  He said yes he'd love to go, what a relief... I was so worried he'd say no! (not really he gave me money to buy the tickets) The events we're going to are really fun! Tonight we're going on a large riverboat, we're eating before hand. On the boat there's swing dancing and games, so Brian and I will have a fun time. Brian said he'd even be willing to try swing dancing for me. Saturday's event is a professional lacrosse game. Neither one of us has ever seen lacrosse played so it will be a fun thing to watch! We'll probably blog tomorrow about how Brian liked swing dancing, I'm hoping for the best!
