Have you spent much time around kids lately? If you haven't you may have forgotten how much energy they have during a day and how hard it can be to keep even ONE child entertained for a whole day. Now think about keeping an entire classroom of kids (30 or more) entertained for an entire week. I get nightmares
and panic attacks just thinking about it.
The preschool is run ever day, so when they arrived it was already setup to entertain kids. Part of the challenge was incorporating all of their material into a room that was already setup.
and panic attacks just thinking about it.
That's what Kacie is doing this week. She had a group project to design, plan, and organize a week worth of activities for little kids. For the past several weeks they've been researching the rain forest and coming up with ways to make the science and art interesting to the kids. They found books, pictures, activities, art projects and games all about the rain forest.
Then on Friday and Saturday night she and her group went into the center to setup everything up. I was there for a few hours helping out and had a chance to grab a few pictures.

| My role was primarily top rip off circles of tape for all of the pictures and posters that were being put up. |

| The row along the top was already there, but the pictures underneath were taped up and added. |
The cup on the table was our Arby's dinner.
The unit started rolling this week and seems to be going well!
