| Me enjoying my coffee and breakfast |
Hello Teacher and Geek Readers!
This is my first blog in 2013 as well as my first blog post as Mrs. Kacie Olson! I can’t believe the past six months have gone by so fast!
Our wedding was a dream come true for me! And the past 6 months I've still been living in a dream! I am truly blessed to be married to the most amazing supportive man. We've been having such an amazing time learning more about each other, living together and enjoying this time in our lives as newlyweds!
I thought since I haven't written recently I’d write a short post about our wedding day. As many of you know Brian and I have dated for a little over 4 years before we got married so this day felt like a long time coming. During this time we also made a commitment to each other to not kiss until our wedding day. So today was a day many of our dreams would come true.
My day started pretty early around 7am. I showered and putzed around for awhile. My wonderful bridesmaids where around with me and we had fun getting ready. My friend Ashley came over to do my hair and makeup. She did an amazing job. My girls brought me breakfast and coffee I felt like such a princess. Our photographer came and started taking pictures of me at 11. Then I met Brian at a park for pictures. I loved seeing him all dressed up in a tux. He cleans up pretty nicely. The rest of the time before the wedding was spent taking pictures and a little bit of hangout time. I was just so excited to walk down the aisle to make Brian my husband. Our wedding ceremony was so special to us because we felt it really reflected us as a couple. Our first kiss was even better than in the movies because we had waited so long for it and it was so special to us. The rest of night was magical with our friends and family. We felt so blessed! So for your enjoyment here are some pictures (finally) from our special day. This may be split into a few posts!
